☃ Wishful Thinking ☃

The term “happily ever after” used to be “happily until they died”!

The following is a quote from “Little Brier-Rose” by the Brothers Grimm. “Then the prince and Brier-Rose got married, and they lived long and happily until they died.” This story later molded to become what we know today as Sleeping Beauty.

Other interesting facts about the Brothers Grimm?

• The two famous brothers had seven other siblings, only one of them a girl.
• The brothers wrote a German dictionary.
• Research by various scholars have shown that many of the Grimm brothers’ stories were purified (they were devout Christians).
